  • Can u decode the strange sounds being heard around the world

  • @cornfeed34 much of it, but certainly not everything.

  • For a different project, I tried to connect the Phone Out to the Line In on my iMac. It worked fine - in fact much better than using the built-in microphone as I did on this video.

  • So there's no way of having a Mac Pro do this without hooking up an external sound loop? I have no built-in microphone.

  • Actually, you might be able to route the audio from the browser to fldigi using software like WireTap Anywhere. A bit expensive and I didn't try it.

  • it is possible to make funny qso's using websdr. For example i use my TXCVR for transmit (testing in 40m band) and websdr for rx, and hear my own signal. hi

I worked few stations, cw, ssb, psk and is cool. Some stations was heard on websdr and nothing in txcvr or reverse.

The sistem is great for a lot of tests

For example N2YO use the websdr for control his signals to Europe.

    Very good video Alex

    Have fun

  • Thanks for the info. Have you noticed any significant delay between your transmission and the reception?

  • Hi, I use a program called Soundflower. I have to change my system output to soundflower, then use another program (cocoaModem, works great) to convert it. I have to set that input to soundflower. When I do this, I can't hear anything. I have to open up another program that plays it, which just runs down my memory. Do you know anything I can do that would make this work, while playing sound? The only reason I don't do this method is others in my house will get annoyed with me! Thanks.

  • Thank you so much. This helps me get started.

  • Excellent video! Thanks for letting me know about this. Now I don't have to purchase that $12k Yeasu! LOL

  • The delay is maximum 1-1.5 sec. ( i think) but in weekend. Normaly is below 1 sec.
