Parents should watch for the following symptoms:
-Child does not like to read.
-Child avoids reading but likes being read to.
-Has a good IQ but has academic struggles.
-Reading comprehension is low.
-Child feels sick while reading.
-Has test anxiety.
-Child gets headaches.
-Child skips the little words while reading.
-Child is bothered by shiny pages or a whiteboard.
-Child loses his place on the page.
I have the irlense glasses and overlayse and I still get bad headaches every day. It's better with them on for light sensitivity. But i wouldn't even dream of reading a single page in a book. As i type this i' not reading it. I DEFINITELY have irlen syndrome. Do I just need to get my glasses adjusted? I've tried diet changes as well.
