If you have any questions about the Borgs or about anything in the vid, don't hesitate to ask.
Battle With Kakeru!
As I explained the last time this section was uploaded, each character has a preferred Borg Tribe and a special Partner Borg. Kakeru's borg tribe is Ninja and his partner is a modified Normal Ninja named Sasuke. The battle is fairly simple since the only upgrades that Partner Borgs get is increased Hit Points and a Normal Ninja's offensive and defensive strength is low. So a few combos and it's all over for Kakeru.
Battle With Kitsune!
Kitsune's a bit of a sly-looking character and a bit of a coward, but he's truthfully a good person a heart. Unfortunately, after defeating his Partner Borg, a modified Claw Robot named Isaac, he and Kou get off on the wrong foot. Kitsune's preferred Borg Tribe is lower-class Machine (I'll explain the difference between lower-class and upper-class later). As such, they're more oriented on defense and melee attacks. It's still not that hard of a battle as you can either keep your distance with projectiles or get up close and wail on him.
Save Mana's Parter, Nao!
Here we introduce Mana, the stereotypical friendly and cheerful girl who just wants to help her friends (not that that's a bad thing). Her Partner Borg, Nao, a modified Angel Nurse (which further reinforces her character archetype), is being assaulted by Death Force Borgs. So Kou and Kakeru step in to assist. The battle is just like all the other "Defeat The Death Force Unit" missions in the game, so it's incredibly easy. After that, Mana joins the group, and she's a terrific asset. Mana has two Borg Tribes: Nurse and Wizard. Nurse Borgs can heal you and Wizard Borgs can either increase your stats or decrease your opponents. Mana is a keeper.
Defeat The Death Force Unit!
So these are pretty much the most common missions in the game. I'll mainly be skipping over these since they don't vary much and they're honestly a waste of recording space. Unless you've hit the limit of GF Energy you can have at a particular section, each of them just grant you 10 points of GF Energy. So, that's pretty much it.
Defeat Nekobe and Kitsune!!
Kitsune's gone and brought his "boss" to help him fight this time. Nekobe's very similar to Kitsune, except he's more cowardly and extremely arrogant. Even getting his ass handed to him won't knock some sense into him. But a fight's what they want and a fight's what they'll get. Nekobe's Partner Borg is Vlad, a modified Vampire Knight. His Borg Tribe are Knight Borgs, which can vary between distance attacks and melee ones, but use more of the latter. Most of them also carry shields which can block attacks. It doesn't matter which you go after in this fight since they're both relatively weak, but I tend to go after Isaac first and then handle Vlad. After they're defeated, they run off holding on to their "pride", and you gain a pretty big GF Energy boost.
thnx 4 da vid dude. i have a question, how do you level up your borgs, & can you level them up outside of story mode?

Every battle your borg is in, story mode or otherwise, gives your borg experience.
If it enters play and survives until the enemy's GF Energy is depleted, it gains two experience points. If it enters play and is destroyed, it gets one.
Borgs that don't enter active play don't recieve any experience.
