I think back to the self proclaimed Liberals and Progressives that touted Ol'Bamma, the Party choice, as the answer to our problems. "Hope" and "Change" they shouted.
Asking them about the real issues like ending 2 Wars or aggression, Medicare for all, stopping the Drug War, the 'Patriot' Act, opening elections to 3rd &4th parties etc, was responded to with "Hope & Change" or "USA, USA!"
Now we're stuck with 4+ years without hope of humanist change.

As things look today perhaps we are missing the ball busting grip the Neocons have on our leaders.

It seems that Obama has fallen to the same crimes as the previous administration. We are lost to them and will be lost to the waring idealogs. there will be peace only in our hearts.
