Jason North of Local Heroes and Jason North Blues Band demonstrates this fine vintage amplifier to good effect. It is a strat copy going straight into the amp. Listen to the harmonics in the tone! Lovely stuff!

  • Sounds great. My RI doesn't even come close even after my MM trannies and mods I've down. Nice tone.

  • Thanks mate. I love the sound that this thing makes, and I'm really lucky and privileged to own it. I wouldn't sell it now; nor would I sell the '77 2203 or '71 Major I own. I also have a 4140 Club & Country combo and an '84 2140 JCM800 50 watt combo. I just love Marshalls, what can I say. I've got other amps, but you can't beat an old Marshall! 85 onwards, forget it! That's my advice... apart from the 2245, 1987 and 1959 X series. I've had the JTM45 & 1959, and would have again. Keep on rockin!

  • hi...is it for sale???

  • Anything is for sale at the right price... I suppose this price makes the amp fairly prohibitive for most people. So I don't want to sell it, but if someone bids it, then it's sold... Are you interested???

  • i'm jealous of your amp, just saying.

  • Wow.that right there is,THE amp.

  • Hi, nice sound, what are the volume settings on the 2 channels?

  • Incredible tone my dude

  • Does Super lead plexi sound like JTM45?

  • @LordSupro I've also heard that the Power Brakes are hard on the transformers. Apparently THD Hot Plates are supposed to be a lot better. But I would definitely agree with you, don't mod that vintage beauty.

  • what song is played at 2:30

  • Couldn't agree more. You NEVER mod a vintage amp in near perfect condition. Or a vintage guitar for that matter.
