  • @jimijamzen Same progression for a while there, yes…

  • Sounds more like 1/2 of Summertime... though very nice and soothing...

  • I was at this gig too. Took me ages to name this tune, got it just before the end and then couldn't help laughing when the penny dropped. Lonnie's been killing every time I've seen him...

  • @YLGersdorf

We must be on the same music wave length!!!

  • Love when Russell quotes "Motherless Child"

  • I'm sorry to say I'm not familiar with the Doctor but it sounds very good. If I didn't know he was taking off of the Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" I would have said he was doing a very soulful take on "Sentimental Journey".

  • There he goes again!! Another great arrangement!!

This is what is so great about Dr. Lonnie Smith.

  • I don´t know what to think really.

compared to my favourite band gentle giant this is ....slower.

very minimalistic in a nice way

  • I LOVE the new CD "RISE UP!" It is #1 one the Jazz Charts for several weeks now!!!!! Every Jazz lover should get this CD!!!
