Sure. I remember it happened with some floppies though. Not with tapes, they tend to be more reliable

Those OO`s in Platoon.. Im 31 now but the last time i saw that loading screen i was 8-9.. Ive never heard of dog tags by that age.. However i had two older sister.... hmmm... white things with strings on the end that you could find in the bathroom:D.

@Simuloide Oh no they didnt :D Tapes were always a hassle, and adjusting the read-head on the tape player was something that needed to be done very often at my house :) Waiting 10 minutes for something to load on the tape, just to not work in the end was always sucky.

yeah but the result of loading was werymuch better than mario 1 by o.nintendo !

I never had a Tape drive for that... I had the floppy drive instead. was much faster :)

haha i had the hollywood collection too!! miami vice was my fav,was like a primitive version of grand theft auto! brilliant!! i also rem there was a 'fast load' version of platoon!!
