This used to run a LOT on Showtime/Movie Channel in the mid-'80s, alongside other WTF? classics such as "Wavelength" and "Hanger 18". Even as a 12-year-old, I knew there was something WRONG with these movies. Thanks for posting the only part of the movie worth remembering: the screaming jackass.

It was infected with an alien fungus (among'us) that eats away the skin. Nasty, really, but not the way this film handles it. :P

Sorry, EmmaB: the master I got this from was chewed up by my VCR some years ago. I was lucky to get what I got from it before its time came.
