This was the song that came to my mind the day my wife told me we were pregnant in 2001. I wasn't ready but I got there. This song will always and forever be for my son and I will do the best that I can. I will always try to be the father I didn't have. That way my son will grow to be a strong example to his son/daughter someday. This song rocks beyond measure.

i am 22 year old i when i was a young teen around the age of 16 was the first time i heard this song. this song has helped me through so many rough times in my life. i went to jail when i still was in high school and saw all my friends graduate and lost everthing i had in life. my friends, family, money ,education everthing. i write this to help someone that has been in terrible life like mine to always know that there is a sign of hope and this song helps me do so.

I'm not a father I'm still just trying to get through high school and start my life but hearing this song makes me think of all of my younger siblings who most are still in elementary school and me being the eldest brother i do believe i need to set an example for them so regardless of how our parents are they can maybe think of me and say hey remember how big bro solved his problems.... wow that was way too deep for me lol.
