I mean God has so favored me because I came from listening to the likes of Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollars to listening to preachers like John Macarthur and Paul Washer. It really hurts me because i am a young girl and i have to follow my parents to a pentecostal church and i see so many people who are really passionate and commited and think they are saved yet me a worthless sinner is so favoured by God to know the truth and I am still sitting here wondering what how to live a Godly life.

When I hear things like this, I always need to reassess myself to be sure I am in the faith. It scares me but at the same time, I love it! Thank you Father for saving her. Thank you for saving me. All glory & honour to you.

I came from the exact same background as you and I was none the wiser; I thought I knew The Gospel, until one day God led me to stumble upon a Paul Washer video. And it has changed and still is changing my life, hearing such piercing, beautiful truth without compromise. I am so thankful for him and other men like him who without any attempt to preserve self preach the truth. Thank God for his sweet, sweet providence.

If she's anything like her extremist parochial husband, her kids have a strong chance of becoming atheists. I'm dead serious---it's a documented proven phenomenon that kids with religious zealots for parents rebel against them and become atheists.

@sedon99 Thanks it brings me great comfort that i am not alone, and i'll do as you said and read 1 John. May God continue to strengthen us in our walk with him, and also save more people, especcially people who call themselves christians and think they are saved but are not. God Bless :)

@koolchick592 I know how you feel. I recently got saved after 6 years of lying to myself. I now have to live with my father who isn't following God at all, and it's a struggle. The only way to remain in that state is to continue to fellowship with God. Read 1 John like she says in this video, it'll tell you how to live! Also the book of Romans is really good. Keep praying for them, and spend time in the Word. God Bless.
