Locally grown produce can be good for chefs and restaurants and produce from the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange is used at the restuarants The Manor and Highlawn Pavilion, also in West Orange, where Mitchell Altholz is executive chef. The chef likes that a lot of his produce can be picked ripe and in season. It provides more choices and even a say in what is grown. (Video by Jennifer Weiss/The Star-Ledger)
