Leaving the comedy behind for now, but for one last video, sticking with DDT.

Kenny Omega is one of the top young stars in the wrestling world. Debuting in 2001 at a very young age, Omega took the world by storm, and won the Premier Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title in 2001 on two occasions, the second ending prematurely due to an injury. Upon his return, he won the PCW Tag Team Titles alongside Rawskillz, and even had a shot at the TNA X Division Title, in a losing effort against Petey Williams. Undeterred, he would bounce right back in 2005, winning the inaugural Premier Cup, defeating Amazing Red in the finals. That tournament win also made his the inaugural NWA Canadian X Division Champion. Soon after losing the belt, he would attend a training camp held by World League Wrestling, and would be sent to Deep South Wrestling for evaluation, leading to his signing a developmental deal with WWE. After some time, Omega requested his release, and returned to PCW. He returned with a huge bang, earning the right to wrestle AJ Styles, and later defeating Styles. 2007 would bring him another Premier Cup victory, and a match with Samoa Joe that launched Omega into wrestling prominence(through a bit of controversy). He traveled to JAPW, winning the JAPW Heavyweight Title quickly, and defending it against all challengers. He would hold the belt for over a year before being dethroned by Jay Lethal. Omega also began traveling to Japan to compete for the Dramatic Dream Team promotion. His in-ring style and antics earned him a long time spot on the roster, and he was in some fantastic matches against the likes of Kota Ibushi, HARASHIMA, and Sanshiro Takagi. He formed a tag team with Ibushi, and together, the two won the KO-D Tag Team Titles, using their incredible double team finisher, the Golden Showers. Back in the states, Omega made his way to both ROH and PWG. His greatest success has been with PWG, where he and Chuck Taylor formed the Men of Low Moral Fiber. However, the two would split, and Omega would go on to win the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles, and the PWG World Heavyweight Title. Omega's style is highly versatile. The Hadoken will floor any opponent, no matter how large. The Aoi Shoudou will put down most opponents, while the Croyt's Wrath will certainly finish the job if needed.

  • Croyt's Wrath

  • How about an update with his new finisher?

  • Perhaps at some point.

  • Atomic Buster isn't here. Not good.

  • It was a one time move on YOSHIHIKO.

  • The last thing TNA needs besides a Monday night slot is more wrestlers on their roster.
