okay i think i figured out the inside secret to this song and its dedcation.
he says thiat he and stephanie were the "once" deepest friends, and then he adds the line about her always chillen in the bus,(bummer?) . Then he purposely starts messing around lol the "stephanies song" is real easy to play, and its not actually that rad. like a two faced dedication lol

Haha he would be the most fun person to get drunk with. Shame I can't comprehend his lesson cause I can never find the right way to play those little bridges in june on the west coast right.

fuck. i would have killed to be there. from what i can see, he was so interactive with the audience throughout the entire show, which doesn't happen very often. you're one lucky individual.

just youtube search 'how to learn june on the west coast by bright eyes' and a vid on how to play it will come up. the guy does a bunch of Bright Eyes songs.
