During the Bush administration, not a single piece of legislation to combat global warming was signed into law. As a result, the US lagged behind most other industrialized nations in curbing carbon emissions. But just this week we've seen major breakthroughs, with the EPA finally acknowledging that greenhouse gases pose a threat to human health. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about the changing tide, and whether or not we'll be seeing the US take on a more prominent leadership role in the climate change arena with Congressman Ed Markey.

  • Truth, after doing much research, I did a paper on climate change. The science is certainly strong enough to suggest that our overuse of carbon fuel is having an effect on the natural way of climate change. To me that means, it is rushing the natural way of things, and who knows what kind of reverberations that could have. My question was at the end, Do we want to take the chance?

You decide for yourself, since humans have been given "free agency" by our maker.

  • sure theres climate change. its called seasons.

  • ice ages have come and gone many times over.what do you think ended them.i believe the history of the earth more than this bag of hot air.stp flying around on your private jet and telling us how to live our lives.enough is enough already.

  • daniel, follow the money indeed. oil money, coal money, follow it. then read a science book. then read about the nazi party, then shut your ignorant trap.

tenroc, get a dose of reality, try to picture yourself pitted against the malignant foes of obama, and then recognize how difficult his tasks are. even more difficult with the likes of you not helping at all. it's good to see all of the racists coming out of the closet, so we can pick them off.

  • 'EPA finally", Do we really think that EPA is independent of the administration they work under. Give those staff people at EPA credit. They made progress on the science side while the administration above them squashed their work for 8 years. When the senators fail to pass climate change law it will be EPA staff who do the grunt work that moves pollution reductions forward.

  • Obama is a TOOL! Stop scaring me with an invisible boogey man.

The UN & its supporters are the 21st Century NAZI party.

Until the world wakes up to this we are all at risk.

Follow the money trail, who/which organization is funding the 2 week charade.

Note who (politically) is attending, vote them out of power.

The banks are the real terrorist!

    Semper Fi
