Hey, Richard! Very good stuff you're sharing with us. Interesting, I practice hung gar foi a couple yeard, an many techniques and tactic you show (clawing soft tissue, eye gouging in many ways, throats grips) seems to form the basic syllabus of this martial art. And also, the way do deliver tha punches - not the quick hit and back, but strong, power-delivering strikes. From the way you move, it seems you have trained Wing Chun, am I right? What's you MA background? Thanks for our great stuff!
Hi Richard, First great vids and tips I had to use an eye gouge that i learned from a book, I had a 6 foot drop behind me and the guy was a 200 lb body builder. I could feel the eyeball popping so I relaxed my hand. I got the sense, I had done enough and the guy was stopping.
Nevermind these keyboard jockies who have never been in a fight-- eye gouging is a great method of self-defence. Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do used alot of this.
Thanks for the great information, streetfightsecrets !
I've seen alot of crap out there, but I've gotta' say that this man really knows his business. Great information. I look forward to seeing a lession on improvised weapons and defence against various types of weapons in the future.
a big hard well known drug dealer is saying he's going to kill me,(my sister has 2 children to him) coz i dont respect him i think. What if i were in a fight with him and gouged his eye out, coz he is pretty strong by the looks of things, would i become an evil bastard, or sick.Would this be justified. He is a gangster wannabe! bully and liberty taker. and he would batter me sensless when already beaten.
dude if you are being for real, just turn the guy in for threatening you or if you have concrete evidence that he's a dealer then use that there's no need to fight if you can him over with lawyers. In fact think I'm going to call this counter the sue.
This guy talks sense and all you other fucken retarded keyboard cowboys out there should go back to listening to your spice girls cd, in a street fight anything goes and if you dont end the fight fast you could be in serious trouble so kick to the nuts punch to the throat and eye gouge, cause the street is survival not a sport like ufc.
Great Video! However gouging at it's fullest is a last resort, like the guy's reaching for the gun in his waistband. I remember Jhoon Rhee getting blasted in an old article of BlackBelt for teaching an eye gouge for defense against a some guy grabbing your shirt front. I think for the drunk adrenaline junkie who is up in your face Paul Vunak's eye attack works. That being a bitch-slap across the eyes with loosely hooked fingers, to traumatize rather than remove. Keep up the great videos man!
