We were booked at the SAE Recording Studio in Miami. We were their all day and into the even. Everything leading up to the day was a problem though.

We were booked a week ago but Perdomo had a gig that day. So we set a date for FRI AUG 5th 2011. Then on that very same day and hour I was call for a job that I could not miss. I ended up traveling from one end of Miami to another. I got to the session late and in progress.

At the session the staff encountered issue after issue with mic signals, mixing board and the kitchen sink. So we waited between instruments, takes and the bathroom toilet, for what seemed like forever.

We had a great time, hope you enjoy the video of us at the Studio.

@CurtisMateer Yeah I know. The idea was to do 3 songs as a test on how we would work in a proper setting. The students didn't have their act together thought. I've yet to get my hands on the tracks recorded that day.

@Gregparkerblues This was a bit of a headache to record. We were ready but the student staff were all thumbs. It was fun though. The video bit, documenting the day, was a blast. It kept us busy while they fumbled about trying to get signals and all that.

@trishabrd Lol....Skittles is the secret! Actually, there is a dirty skittles video somewhere on line. Perdomo showed us the commercial and it was a big laugh.

@fredthejunkman I know Dave. It is better at home. At home you can press record when you wish. The more people thrown in the chain, the slower the workflow. I'm with you on that one for sure.
