Her real name is Jessica Charlotte Poland. She got her name from a childrens book, Charlotte Sometimes, written in 1969 by Penelope Farmer. The borrowed name is that of a precocious boarding school student who finds herself transported 40 years into the past, into the body of another girl. This curiously dark childrens story of time-travel and interchangeable identities, interested Charlotte from a young age.

I love Charlotte Sometimes! I was excited to see her on The Voice but wish she was making music. I have her album in the top 25 played on itunes!

Seeing her on The Voice tonight threw me off.... I've had her album in constant rotation since 08 on my ipod... What is she doing on The Voice and not in the studio making more music for my ears!?
