Science by nature is limited in what it can explain. What it can be reproducible and predictable can be said to become fact. Something that can be measured can be theorized. One time events are theories as they cant be reproduced and hence are not facts. Evolution is fine as scientific theory given they constraints they operate under. Science does not prove truth...only provides an explanation of material things given its constraints it operates under.
