REC trailer

The next cult horror film lies in waiting. Entitled REC and the finest film out of Spain for a number of years, has already been bought for a Hollywood remake. REC centres on a small TV crew as they chart the night of a local fire service, but when called out to a city apartment, all is not as it seems.

Just watched the spanish version. After so many good reviews I must say I'm utterly disappointed by it. Pretty average but certainly looks much better than it really is because there's rarely any good horror film lately.

REC is a fantasically creepy movie, one of my favourites. Is it just me or are foreign horror films waaaay better than Hollywood ones (most of the time)?

Quarantine is in fact the american REMAKE of the spanish original, Rec

I just saw the original last night, and having seen Quarantine first, I feel that Rec explains alot more of the cause of the viral spread, and the ending is much creepier. But Quarantine has a better set/apartment building, and the camera kill scene. Rec has much creepier sounding rabies ppl tho....
