@meestro There are those who sell Oregon truffles, but I can't confirm that they have been previously ripened. We sell them (when in season) on our website when they are pretty far along, but we also send instructions for use, care and ripening instructions (simple).
I didn't realize there were any truffles using legit truffles, and not just some chemical concoction mixed w/ olive oil. It seems as if 'truffle' and 'truffle oil' were used synonymously in this video. Are there any exports of the 'ripened' Oregon truffles themselves? Does this oil have the metallic after bite that most 'truffle oils' have?
@meestro Most "truffle oils" are synthetic- theirs, and few others use actual truffles and so don't have that metallic aftertaste
