A very quick video of my solo cook kit. The pot is a Blue Diamond Almonds can with the rim cut out. The pot stand is inspired by Tinny from minibulldesign.com and I got the idea of a Tea light type of burner from Jason Klass.
@TheOutdoorBasics It's a food grade steel can. As long as I make sure there is water in it before heat is applied, I'm not worried about it. Not sure what the lining is, but it isn't plastic like in a tomato can. Frankly, I think we breath in more toxins in a day than a cup of boiling water from this can would contain.
Small, light, and simple. Nice job. Oh, and very inexpensive, too.

Well no one has asked yet so I will. Is it safe to boil water in that? What's it made of?
