Angela Hewitt's Trasimeno Music Festival 2009

Angela Hewitt's Trasimeno Music Festival is held annually in Umbria, Italy. Seven concerts are presented in seven days: five in the Castle of the Knights of Malta in Magione, and one each in Perugia and Gubbio. The audience can also enjoy guided tours of the Umbrian hill towns (Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, Orvieto, etc.) and gala dinners before the concerts. In this 2009 edition, Angela performed with the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova (playing here in the Church of San Pietro in Perugia Bach's Double Concerto with oboist Rossana Calvi and violinist Giovanni Angeleri), with singers Dame Felicity Lott and Dame Ann Murray (seen in the background singing Handel), Philip Langridge and Neal Davies, flautist Andrea Oliva, cellist Francesco Pepicelli, and pianist Jean-Paul Sevilla.
