for the people saying no bass... It's probably his camera..... And the fact that he's right up on it... not going to hear a lot of low end frequencies with the camera right up against it...

Im pretty sure that he made the adapter plate by himself.

He just made one of plywood and wraped some dynamat around it to seal it good.

I made mine by myself too.

Just buy some plywood ( i used 8mm thick wood for my 98 corolla that was the max i could fit in there without having trouble to put my doorpanel back on), take the old speakers out , use the old as a template and cut the wood in that shape.

It`s pretty simple , and much more stiffer than plastic adaptors.

nice insatll, but im wondering what adapter plate kit did you use?? ive been searching everywere for an adapter kit and can find one nowhere for my o3 corolla. what year is your corolla? and did you also replace the 6x9s in the back and if so what kit plate did you use for that? thank you!
