  • jazz version by who???

  • @crespo1389 David Benoit did a somewhat jazzy version of the tune on his latest (or at least somewhat recent) album. He performed it and we worked through it on a segment of my "Piano Guy" public television series.

  • What's Steve Jobs doing there?

  • @KronprinzAdam When I wrote, "acid", I mean "acid jazz", of course...

  • @fredturd There is actually a nice acid cover by the surf band "Surf Coasters" from Japan. They play usually surf covers from early 60s (and originals songs, of course), but from time to time they include some psychodelic tunes from late 60s...

  • @Triplesod The intro can be played if you have some music score, like the Doors Piano Book...the intro is good explained there...but the organ solo isn't....;( but there are a couple of midi files which are more or less accurate...

  • I'm german o.o

  • This guy looks like Dan Butler or Bulldog from Frasier

  • @crespo1389

    hehe...

The only "true" cover is Jose Feliciano's..., "light my fire, light my fire, light my fire, light my fire, light my fire, "

  • scott, wtf.

  • Bars 22 & 24 you play melody note E, but lead sheet repeats the note D as in bars 18 & 20. The "E" sounds correct, as you played it. Typo in the lead sheet, or can it go either way?

  • And the second part? o__O?!!!
