Happy Easter everyone! I really liked this song a lot the first time I heard it a few years ago and had to get it all practiced up for Easter Sunday to accompany a couple of friends at my church so I thought I'd spend my Easter afternoon recording it. God bless.

  • Great sound. Try to open up more, and on notes that are sustained, put a bit of vibrato on it. It will help you ( or anyone ) stay on pitch a bit better. Keep singing.

  • @hinnersorgans Thanks for the input and encouragement!

  • Very nice. I'm not much of a pianist, but as a singer I will offer this suggestion:

Try opening up your throat more when you sing and see if you don't like the sound a little better. When I was learning to sing at an early age, I remember being told to make it feel almost like a yawn--that's how open you should feel when singing. Get it to a point where you can plug your nose and you don't sound any different, and you've got it.

  • thanks for the input!

  • that was absolutely beautiful MR. Chikin

I love your cover/thingy of it!

one of my favorite church songs,

    happy Resurrection Sunday my friend,

  • Thanks!

  • @SqueezyCornbread , good comment! A good critic without beeing rude! Is rare in youtube!

  • i hope you'll receive my message.

    Godbless you.

  • Nice. The only thing I might suggest is to slow the tempo down a bit. It seemed a bit rushed to me.

  • Wow, James, great job!

And congrats on getting engaged a few months ago. :)
