  • The last two pieces from "Six Lute Pieces of the Renaissance" arranged by Oscar Chilesotti. First he plays "Se Io M'Accorgo", the second is "Saltarello".

  • He plays the music, others just play the notes..

His musicianship made him one of the greatest interpreters in music and by far the best guitarist. His guitar technique training and his freakish dedication shows if you can see..His hands are not "fat" as people said. Those are muscles.Look at 1:58 at the base of fingers 3 and 4.This gigantic guitar freak had long and heavy fingers but with delicate and small finger tips. The perfect natural design coupled with an amazing will power and talent.

  • I think you deeply understood the point about Segovia's art

  • the poorest quality (visually) ive seen of him yet possibly the best tonal quality Ive heard of him playing (despite the audio signal quality) His tone production and powerful accent on certain portions along with his sense of timing is what sets him apart from many of his time and players today and this tune was made to order " for him demonstrating perfectly those very qualities. Enjoyed very much! Great contribution.

  • Thank you for posting. Segovia is the pure master of classical guitar, his music will live forever!

  • @davinort had the information right. @van, the second piece is not "Italiana." @abby161919, this was not composed by Bach."Composed shortly after his wife's death." why did you give such specific information if it's not even correct?

  • Ein wirklicher Virituose auf der Gitarre. Muskalische Grüße aus Germany

  • He is the very reason I started playing. What a character, what charisma and musicianship! Such a great figure! God bless you Mr. Segovia!

  • @Gitarobert composed by bach, shortly after his wifes death.
