wow! he really seems to enjoy what he does!! that proves his parents don't push him into it!
-
absolutely nice!!!
-
where's this kid now? :D
-
Good for you for performing this. And, with good teaching???? What could you possibly mean? Do you think this came out of his head?
-
Very talented child. With good teaching he will become a good pianist.

@scientistpatrick The only thing? You seem to know a lot about what this young man's teacher tells him to do.
-
If he's short, why doesn't he just move down the bench? The only thing standing up means is that he has not been told by his teacher to roll his bench down. Also, in the music (well, at least the version I have), Bartok specifically states "Meno Vivo", so not playing slower would be completely defying the will of the composer. I mean, if one were to slow down in a place where it doesn't say to, it's all right, but if he slows down where the composer says to speed up, it is wrong. Happy new year!

the explanations to that - he's a kid
*rolls eyes
what do you expect? seriously, stop critiscizing this kid man,
the reason hes standing up because he's short or maybe he's so into that music he can't help himself?
the middle part- everyone has their own style of playing the piece,
AND i dont think you need to worry about him breaking a wrist because its just showing he plays piano passionatetly with his heart and you don't.

Im performing this at the Wigmore hall on the 13th of December 2009, wish me luck

very energetic, though.
i wish this kid keep this enthusiasm, he will become somebody one day. :)
he seems to like playing very much. Honestly, I haven't heard anyone as young as him play like him before, so I think he would qualify as a prodigy.
