Kobluk a major talent. Awesome.

love this version "For Baby" :) so beautiful sounding, better more that classic version without other voices love John:)

Interesting - the first song is Ian Tyson's "Four Strong Winds". It was the FIRST song of the 100's that he wrote (and continues to write). Recently rated in the top 6 most influential songs in Canadian history.

Just a fubulous song with great harmony..... oh the folk era of the late 50's & 60's just can't be beat ... The seekers with Judith Durham, Chad Mitchel, The New Christy Minstrels... just to name a few .... what an era, what a sound .... if only we still had it today.... John Denver ... you are truly a treasure and greatly missed, along with Judith Durham your music means so much to me....

this was always one of my favorite JD songs, I didn't know these great singers did it as a trio, it sounds so good.

My favorite song of theirs was "The Marvelous Toy."
I was a big fan of the Chad Mitchell Trio when I was in High School in the Washington, DC area. The Trio was booked to play at the Lisner Auditorium (George Washington University) in 1965 and I got tickets for myself and my two best friends to see them.
I was so disappointed when I found out that Chad Mitchell had left the Trio and had been replaced, that i almost decided not to attend the concert.
What a loss that would have been. John Denver was a fabulous replacement for Chad Mitchell.

What you did was understandable. Chad was and is a tremendous talent. If I had not met John at that time I might have felt the same but to meet him was to know he someday would be superstar.

Yes, can you remember "Can't Wait Til You're Governor, Lurleen," "Either You're A Congressman or Not (Adam Clayton Powell)," the " I Vas Not A Nazi Polka" and Mike's solo of the song about Canada the name of which I could never remember but his singing of it I will never forget.

You can see them Dec. 5 at the Big Bear ski resort north of San Bernadino when they do a benefit concert to raise money for a new church for Father Joe Frazier.
