I don't know what gardensocks cost in the US but here they are quite expensive. I would rather just spend an hour and save myself the expense. Your trick would take an hour anyway, including the time it takes to purchase these socks.

indeed. Spent about $250 filling that bed with soxx. cheaper to hire someone for an hour filling the bed with cheap soil, or - heaven forbid - doing it yourself for free!
product would perhaps be better aimed at cities/companies with flower beds outside of their buildings as a way to cut down on maintenance

I'm not sure about this. I think creating your own compost (even if small scale) would be better than purchasing a compost sock. Patty, you must have a lot of compost waste from your animals and garden to create a decent compost pile. Perhaps I am wrong? No disrespect or challange offered here. Just a question.
