ehridium: I really like the fact that they're taking things slower this season, and they seem to be working on actually developing the characters a little more, but if this really is the last season, then I'm surprised that they're not going more out there. Heroes has always done the extreme; it's just odd to see otherwise.
"Girl in the Fireplace" and "Blink" are both amazing episodes. I actually just finished rewatching "Smith and Jones"...
Thank you for the comment!

You seem to like "Blink". I too really like that episode. That doesn't help a lot though... I also really liked "The Girl In The Fireplace" and "Smith And Jones". I think that Samuel and the circus seem to be the unifying story line for this season. With a title like "Redemption" you can already tell that this season will not be like some of the other story arcs. Perhaps more personal and less earth shaking. Hiro is my favourite character.
Actually I had a chance to look at my collection. I liked Smith and Jones, of course. But I was actually thinking of the two part episode "human Nature/The Family Of Blood". Primarily The Family Of Blood, I liked when The Doctor re-emerged at the end.

The ''Family of Blood" is probably my favorite of season two (along with Blink and the Master story arch). I absolutely love the part when he is holding the fob watch and begins speaking like the Doctor. For some reason that scene always makes me smile.
So, now that we've officially gone off topic, who's your favorite companion?

The Family Of Blood is series 3, though it is David Tennant's second season. I think that I liked Martha the most, then Rose, then Donna. I worry about the new Doctor, David was very good.

Yikes. I knew that (series three). As much as I love Christopher Eccleston, I always forget to count his season as the first...
I sort of go back and forth between the companions depending on the episode. As of now, I liked Donna the best, simply because there wasn't a romantic relationship between her and the Doctor although I didn't care much for her in Runaway Bride (I felt incredibly sorry for her though).

I like all of the companions, of course. Donna's departure had to be the saddest though(for me): very Flowers For Algernon.

Definitely the saddest. Though we musn't forget Captain Jack Harkness (and all previous companions before the series started back up again).
