Wow! Not to take anything away from Leo Kottke, but until I heard this guy I thought Leo was the "best" player out there, although they do have (slightly) different styles. Tommy is simply amazing!

@sawsrhed Used to listen to a lot of Leo and learned a few of his songs. A favorite was "Owls" and the most challenging I tackled was "Bean Time", both from the 1972 album Greenhouse.

First saw Tommy about 20 years ago at a NAMM convention concert at the Wild Horse in Nashville. He was in town to cut his first recording there. Amidst well-known artists including one of the last appearances by Carl Perkins, Tommy came out as an unknown with just a guitar and a stool and brought the house down!

@IBWIV Have you heard "My Father's Face", released in '89? Songs I particularly enjoy are Theme from "The Rick and Bob Report" and Mona Ray. Lovely tunes.
