Does anyone think that BP should be liable for the change of lifestyle that so many people are having to make. I am not talking about the people who have been financially affecting. I mean the people who grew up building their dreams. There are a lot of people who enjoy fishing, surfing, swimming, diving etc... How will they be compensated. Obviously the people who are financially affected take priority but still... What is your opinion?

Instead of the government supporting the efforts of BP for a carbon tax, they should act with real authority and sieze the assets of BP for the people effected and clean-up effort. In a perfect world BP would be bankrupt, in this world they run the gov't. The money set aside is a joke and doesn't even come close to the true value lost. How can you compare a sustained way of life to chex paying substandard lifstyle?

@APB187 All ;you folks have to do is quit burning that gas and diesel, buying all those plastics and mutipling like rabbits and you won't be having to deal with this type of disappointment in your lives. Hey by the way your plastic bags are blown out to sea and us fishermen have to deal with them also. Get a job live away from the sea cause your are killing the rest of due to insurance cost.

hummm, the last video I saw a Hotel owner said Destin never got any oil on thier beach. Thats what the man said. I know this video was taped back in June,but the man said they never got oil on thier beach. Whatever guys. Im sick of lies,but what can you do...think for yourself and do what you think is rite.You want to play in that water go for it. The Hotel owners could sey,yes we got hit by oil,but its not washing ashore any more.But Heck,that may be a lie to.

The way I think in my mind is that I know better than to drill a hole on the Ocean seafloor because this is what you get. Oil Companys love to belittle people that tell them not to Drill in the ocean. Try and conversate with an oil worker who is true to his drilling profetion and he may say to you,WELL YOU DRIVE A CAR DON'T YOU?(Yes I do) Well then shut the hell up! I KNOW WE HAVE SOLOTIONS TO OIL CONSUMPTION,AND THEY NEED TO BE IMPLAMENTED NOW MORE THAN EVER! LETS WAKE UP AND REBUILD OUR NATION
