whats ur system specs? i can play arma 2 only on normal although i got dual core @ 2.4 ghz 3gb ram and a nvidia 9600(1024mb ram) could be that ur grafic details are to high maybe lower them a bit (probably u got to much view distance that causes lots of probs) hope i could help
