  • Lol, your moms kitchen looks just like my moms kitchen, she has everything stacked on top of each other, and she also has a bowl in the corner of the kitchen sink to wash all the dishes with, to funny (my mom is from Carolina, PR) thanks for bringing it old school~

  • This is an amesome video, I'm part puerto rican and mixed with filipino and chinese and the puerto rican side of my family prepares this all the time especially at big gatherings. I love that your using all GOYA!! I want to try this at my home b/c i don't get to see my puerto rican family as much anymore. =[ thx for posting keep up the great recipes!

    And I have to ask are you puerto rican mixed with something else (like me)? lol

  • what do you mean the plaintan leaves do you use the pealings from a plantain or is there an acual kind of leaf you use

  • i never add tomato sauce..I use to but prefer without it..the rest is pretty much I use. Sometimes I use different grains..I know in PR it was more popular to use the long grain and then short for arroz con pollo but I guess as long as you cook it right you will be good..looks good though..yummy..cooking for my future mexican wife family right now
