  • Yeah, Don Felder contributed tons of tasty guitar parts and signature leads on many of the Eagles albums and they just skip right over him! Well we're not stupid and we know that Felder was a intricate part of the Eagles evolution! Oh, and how can they skip over Poco, Pure Prairie League and other bands that where great contributors to the Country Rock world!!! Make the documentary longer and include those who deserve it! It is a cool documentary though and thanx for posting!!!!!!!

  • Crosby is wrong. The eagles did take chances with lyin eyes and hotel California.

  • I wonder if the remaining Eagles persuaded the documentary producers to lie and say that Joe Walsh replaced Bernie Leadon when it was Don Felder who replaced him (after Leadon's introduction of Felder to the group). Henley and Frey treated Don Felder like crap and kicked him out when he reminded them of the agreement he joined them under when they tried to reduce his portion of profits. It seems more than likely.

  • @russallert -i was actually shocked to hear crosby say that about the eagles, it sounds like he's a little bit jealous...

  • Geffen is a SMART dude. Finally got a chance to hear his voice. :)

  • Would love to meet David Geffen and check out his eyes... :-))

  • David Crosby is wrong about the Eagles being boring. In fact, with all due respect for his work with the Byrds and CSN(Y), Crosby has often fallen into meandering navel-gazing mode (particularly in his solo work and duo work with Nash) that is far more boring than the Eagles' perfectly realized country-rock songs. Sorry, Cros.

  • It was hard to make sense of it all (70's music) because none of it really made sense. Politics? Nah! It was a media-fueled orgy of excesssss.......

  • The BBC is so good at putting things inside a nut shell. Interesting take on the L.A. music scene...thanks.
