Canada has free health care..Guess what! there healthcare system is better then what ours is now! d doctors in Canada are regarded as some of the best in the world..you doom Sayers are all jokes..
Lies told loud enough and long enough start to be believed. This video does not tell the full truth. Employers will dump their healthcare coverage if this law takes effect. Costs will be double what they are predicting, physicians will quit or retire in droves, you will not be able to find a competent doctor, and if you are lucky enough to receive care, it will be the low quality generic government kind.
@MetalandHotRods Nobody's asking you to "rely" on the government. This is a market-based reform law. Do you believe that I should have to pay medical bills because you're too irresponsible to buy your own insurance coverage? Do you believe it's okay for an insurance company to cancel your existing coverage AFTER you get sick? The Affordable Care Act is common sense legislation (most of it's already in effect) and the Republicans opposed it simply for political expediency.
@GeorgiaKev this is what will bankrupt & eliminate private ins. the Gov't thinks they know whats best for you I don't want to rely on them for anything! they can't even deliver the fuckin Mail without over running the budget ....pathetic!
@AmericanBadass44 Most of the law's provisions are already in effect: insurance co's may not cancel someone's existing health insurance coverage AFTER they become sick, children cannot be denied insurance coverage because of a pre-existing condition (and come 2014, nobody will), and 85% of insurance companies' revenue (i.e.--what they make from customer premiums) must go to paying claims (not salaries). People aren't going to say "sure, let's get rid of all this and go back to the old way."
@AmericanBadass44 I hope to God that those reactionary right wing idjits can't and don't harm gut halt or kill this bill in its practical application positive impact etc.
Let me tell everyone wha's going to happen. With absolutely no practical way of even beginning to activate this bill, it's going to be deemed a "long term plan" and fade into the sidelines for years and even decades. And by that time, the Tea Parties will have inevitablly created a new Republican majority in Washington that will kill the bill. And that will be the end of it. Questions?
This is a fucking joke. A fucking, socialist, joke.
