Yooowee Gee Bee lovers--here's a 1/2 scale R-2 that's bound to get you going! Too bad it was lost on the second flight--still can't figure what went wrong--perhaps the elevator servo--takes a lot to push a 10 ft. wingspan Gee Bee that weighs 121 lbs. around. Especially when it's being powered by a limbach 280-gear drive hanging on the nose!

  • tat's too bad. That's an awesome bird.

When was the vid shot... judging from what people are wearing I'm guessing late 80's

  • The 5 videos I posted of the GIANT unlimited scale aircraft happen to be recorded in La Ferte France in 2003 at the annual rc expo. Thanks for watching--Ithink the "BIG" ones are fantastic!

  • I never knew Ric Flair flew rc airplanes

  • hes going to need a few more rounds on the sunbed now hes got nothing to fly

  • i love the GeeBee's. Yours is splendid! I also love the i-16 rata's.. Any more Gee Bee's since then?

  • Without the help of the commentator I would have been lost watching this!!

  • evy one she the man at 3:40 to 3:42 :o

  • Boy-ain't that the truth! Every time I put 20-30 flights on a great flying rc plane I feel like it's indestructable, and I would never have a mishap-then , suddenly that "date" comes up-like an expired library book, and I'm off to the hobby shop to start all over again! BUILD-FLY-CRASH-REPEAT! That's my motto! Thanks tazztt1.

  • Dude, put on a shirt!!

  • Let that be a lesson to all of you! Wear clothing when flying a Gee Bee ! What a maroon.

  • Great model. To be fair, the real racer was notoriously difficult to fly.

  • @billville111 sure does!! the rc gee bee's are just as "safe" as the real ones.
