Get A Life - Spewey The Alien

From the brilliant, screwed up sitcom which stands as one of my favorites. Chris (Chris Elliot) has a close encounter with a shipwrecked alien and learns his special ways. From the episode "Spewey & Me".

NOTE: I am not the copywright owner, of course. I am simply a huge fan of a show that didn't get it's just due. Hopefully this will drum up support for a decent DVD release.

actually there are 2 dvds just found them on amazon!

There's two dvds, but it's just dvd transfers of the VHS tapes. I'm hoping for a decent release sometime soon. I have them bootlegged, but a nice release would still be sweet.

I completely agree. It's probably the most screwed up show I've ever seen, especially on network. Sadly though, the network hated it and it only lasted 2 seasons.

Back in the day, I had one of those fat black bottom feeder fish with eyes like this alien. I named the fish Spewey.

I'm so glad I found this on youtube. No one ever knew what the heck I was talking about.

@VonCouch I agree. I have the same boot legged episodes as you. Chris Elliott was way ahead of his time. They weren't prepared for this show or Twin Peaks.

My favorite episode is the one where they get lost camping and eat all the homicidal berries and try to kill each other. Turns out it was only the backyard.
