Panasonic Lumix TZ5 HD Test - 720p - Random Shots Driving In A Snowstorm

What a great little camera. It's no HD vid cam, but it takes 720p video clips (limited to 8:27 per take) and it shoots decent photos as well.

NOTE: All the talk about the crappy sound is true. The mic is terrible and in a bad spot, and the sound on playback is PLAIN awful.

All in all a pretty versatile and easy to use camera the (automatic mode is super good) for the money.

Hey, nice HD. Now I would like to know if ACDC knows you used their song and if it is copy-write media? In the last few months, YouTube has been busting my ass because I attach led zep, aerosmith etc... :-/ I couldn't imagine ACDC would allow it. Don't get me wrong dude, I'm ALL for using the music I paid for on my homemade HD videos.

Please help me - I've just got a TZ5, and have uploaded a couple of test videos, butYT wont recognise it has HD? I simply uploaded the raw .mov file. I obviously recorded in 16X9 H, to get HD.

Where am I going wrong?

There has been HD since late 2008. You need to upload your video at a resolution of 1280 X 720..

i tried a few minutes ago and managed to upload a video in HD. try it today, probably this feature was just made available this week.
