The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has expressed concern that governments may be leaning on Internet service providers and others to stop them doing business with WikiLeaks.

Speaking on the eve of Friday's International Human Rights day, she said the case raises complex questions about balancing freedom of information, the right of people to know, and the need to protect national security.

  • The power mad Sectary of the State that uses SO CALLED LAWS on one and not the other who publishes is B.S. the U.S. Government is clearly targeting who they want as no one looks at the criminal acts they them-self have committed.

  • @disappearences Everything on the internet should just go to Iceland

  • at a 1000 cables a day, wikileaks has almost a whole year of ammo

If this is a result from less then 1%, then this is going to be very interesting to watch

  • @JogBird Didn't know that, but that's pretty much in line with the powerful's agenda of keeping people divided through racism and political divide. The powerful have to put the brakes on financial contributions that would support truth and trump up false crimes against people who want to bring out the truth like Wikileaks. We need to stand with Wikileaks - all of us.

  • Anonymous is not an organisation.

  • Yay UN is on the right side :)

  • UN!
