  • First I would like to thank you for taking the time to have the films transfered over to be posted to tube. Then I want to thank you for all the great memories that it has brought back to me. All the courage of the drivers and MY GOD the vinatge cars!!!

    Thank You soo much

  • Thank you. They were converted a few years ago from 8mm to VHS. then I converted them to digital because I was afraid that the VHS would one day degrade. As far as history they were all from my Dad who went to all of these events. I would remember when I was younger him coming back and telling us about them.

  • That's it !!

Got some 16 mil from the seventies ''Catlereigh NSW ''...... I'm sending them in for transferring. Too good to let them waste away''''''

  • BIG thanks for posting these.....grand old track, lots of history. Ironic that a portion of these drag cars are nothing more than static displays anymore(at least they're still around)

  • THANK YOU !! It's like stepping back in time. Snake's front-motor T/F car, Big John Mazmanian's F/C......WOW ! Always gave me goose bumps when the 1st round of T/F was pushed-off (yes, they were push started) and the first two cars came rolling out under the Hurst bridge, a popin' and cracklin' !!!

  • Yeah this is the dragracing I grew up with too!

  • Many Thanks for posting drags from the old days...!I spent my early/mid teens at the strip every weekend.Detroit Dragway for all you old timers...
