Derek and Odette have always been one of my favorite animated couples. The way their relationship is depicted across the series is refreshing in its honesty. While they are good people, they still have problems, arguments, and miscommunications. They grow in their love and struggle to make things work - while it's undeniably idyllic, the series shows that you don't need to be "perfect" or live a "perfect" life to have a beautiful relationship.

Swan Princess was produced by Nest Entertainment, not Disney; however, the head animator did come from Disney. The only other animated pieces Nest created besides Swan Princess were historical and religious to my knowledge. Granted it doesn't make this movie any less amazing, and it is still my favorite. <3

@sydthemusicjunkie I agree :) but The Swan Princess isn't Disney though I have to admit I thought it was for the longest time. It was directed by a former Disney Animation director though. This movie is actually New Line Cinema.
