  • Phleurdillee1 I'm glad I could help!

  • I don't get why this works ?? does your cut out work as an extra mat or something?

  • roxyfur...this works because the hole in the embossing folder is creating a pressure relief over the hole...everyplace else has pressure on it and is getting squished, therefore embossed!

  • I wish I could express to you what myself, my husband and my son went thru today. They were trying to help me do this technique ( I wanted for a class sunday). We all had it backwards, etc. I had let them watch a video that was confusing using a spellbinders die, etc. Thanks for clearing it up and actuallty going into details on everything. Especially the resist mat, dimensions, thickness, exactly what you used, etc! I am going to glue 3 Dsp cardboards now! TFS!

  • this is really cool, thanks fo haring this tip! I am going to try this asap! =)

  • love how you were using the shim you made vs. cutting the embossing folder. A great great card. Thanks for sharing with us all.

  • Wonderful lesson! Thanks!

  • that's what I thought but I just couldn't wrap my head around it ... thanks!
