  • use the spark plug socket to gently drop them in by droping em in you will easily bend the tip of the plug decreasing your gap

  • @balls7504 Yes, true. I just added that to the video now. thanks

  • Thanks Brotha. You helped me a lot but you missed one crucial part of this procedure. You never mentioned drinking a beer. This is an important step in this procedure. You must have a beer while working on the bike at all times. Copy that?

  • @periloushoggies haha that is the most important =) glad you found the video useful man!

  • Whilst in most cases the tool kit that comes with your bike isn't worth looking at, the plug removal tool is excellent. It's hinged and just the right length too. Also it will grip your plug nicely when you take out the old plug and insert the new one.

  • @Knightlore10 If you don't want to use your ignition wires to pull it out this would be a good alternative. I assumed most of that stuff was crap haha. Thanks for the pointer

  • @DlbDareDevil thanx very much I will do that I'm going to search gixxer forums to see what I find. And yes that is a great option to throw some injector cleaner but the think is I bought a use one so the guy that sell it to me didn't take to much care of this gorgeous(but banged up.) GSXR600 K5 so I'm basically stuck learning everything I can so I can fix it from the ground up.... yeah its in really bad shape but what u gonna do. Its my patience project as I like to call it jajaj :P take care

  • @sergiolad I usually throw fuel injector cleaner in it every oil change so that doesn't happen. But I would suggest trying searching the gsxr forum using google. Best of luck man!

  • Hi thanx for the vid very useful. Ammmm.... Does anybody know how to take out and reinstall the fuel injectors to send them for a clean up...?? Please if anybody can help it would be much appreciated.
