    That's "His Mark Replies." It's kind of the second half of a song called "The Operative." Both on It'll Be Cool. Michael is playing guitar instead of drums on this one.

    great band...sadly, this is too similar to the story of many amazing musicians..they write truly beautiful songs and work their asses off recording, promoting, and relentlessly touring with their bands and never gain the recognition they deserve...meanwhile, i can't even turn on the radio without being fed the latest manufactured los angeles flavor of the month crap by a loudmouth corporate meat puppet DJ.

    i saw silkworm at the EMP in seattle with mission of burma and then drove to sa francisco to see mike watt/silkworm and burma again at the filmore....INSANELY GREAT GIGS!!!

    A great band to see live. Used to see 'em pretty regularly as a four piece around '92-'94.

    Was bummed when I ran into Joel Phelps at his Buffalo Exchange job and he told me he left the band.
