Fair enough comment (I just haven't seen all the original iPod ads to compare the footage to be honest) but it's just that "adeline2392" didn't really make it clear it wasn't her own shot footage, especially with an opener of "yea I made it myself...". So yet again, it proves that nobody but nobody out there has done a true iPod-inclusive ad with the rotoscoping etc. Final Cut Pro + Photoshop + 3D mesh + frame-by-frame patience = true iPod ad in my opinion. Thanks again.

Nice to see an iPod silhouette video with someone who's made the effort to actually put the iPod and wires in.

So I take it you rotoscoped the iPod (with a 3D mesh skin + Layer Masks) into it frame-by-frame in Photoshop CS3? And the wires are frame-by-frame Paths, whited out?
