How do u get that 'puff'' effects? well i guess its ur hairtype..my hair is weak, n thinning so sad at 1 pt i had long natural hair i'd been growin for years then a hairdresser told me it'd b beta if i relaxed..big mistake..

Fort the "straw set puff" I used a strip of pantyhose instead of an elastic headband to pull my hair back. I used either ic fantasia or eco styler gel to slick back my edges. I used the same technique in the straw set video to do my set and I tied my edges down with a scarf and put on a satin bonnet and slept in it overnight. It's faster to do and it lasts longer.

Thanks i wish i cud do my straw curls for myself tho but i hv absolutely no hair skills..i did mine on mondy in a salon, it came out good but it was expensive n she used rods instead of straws cuz she sed it was easier for her..but d rods hurt like hell...which defeats my purpose of tryin 2 go bk,..im fed up of d torture of salon chairs..
