The Irish even have a name for people who say they're Irish even though they've got like a tiny percentage of the blood in them. Plastic Paddy.

And I say fairplay to them. I'm English and it'd piss me off too if somebody who wasn't English started talking or acting like me or using my slang and talking about his/her "English ancestry" like they were one of me. And NO nationality seems to do this more than Americans, like they're trying to be something they're not.
