There were Zionists like Martin Buber and Albert Einstein who were against a Jewish state in the 1940s. They saw the dangers of ethno-centric nationalism and they have been proved correct unfortunately. If you ever bother to read the Old Testament cover to cover which it looks like you haven't and count up how many times the word Jewish appears it appears in only one book Esther. Before that it refers to Canaanites, Hebrews, Samaritans, Israelites, Judeans, Hittites and Philistines. Tell me which of these people are "Jewish"? Palestinians can make a stronger claim to ancestry to these people simply because they are native to the land.

So what do these DNA studies prove? DNA studies are like economic forecasts you can always find one geneticist who can prove one thing and another geneticist who concludes the exact opposite.
