Grunge were a group of bands not a genre their will never be grunge again because their will never be another AIC Soundgarden Nirvana Pearl Jam etc.

@Nirvaaanaa I feel that the label of grunge seems describes a time and a place instead of the music. I mean Nirvana, AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam all have pretty different styles

the way i see it, rock music in the 80's and 2010's wasn't bad, the good stuff was just underground. music media & record labels weren't willing to take risks. in the 80's you had sonic youth, dinosaur jr, all the bands on sst & sub pop etc, last decade awesome innovative bands like boris and comets on fire did some of their best work, and its been a golden age for psychedelic & 'experimental' bands. scratch beneath the surface, get involved =)

dude, if youre in, im in. the teens of the new millennium is the decade where this type of awesome rock will come back. men will be men, music will be made. ill be on the front lines, hope youll all be there, hope ill be making music with you all. the 80s (mostly) sucked but the 90s ruled, its a pattern see. real music will return and all these shitty bands will be out of business because everyone will want awesome rock.
